Bible Trivia Game

Bible Buzzer is a free Bible trivia game you can play right here, with no sign-up. Each Bible quiz round has 10 questions, and every answer opens the verse it comes from, so the Bible trivia sends you back to the Bible itself.

Bible trivia FAQ

Is this Bible trivia game free?
Yes. The game is free, with no sign-up and no ads. Open the page and the first question is already waiting.
Which Bible translation do the questions use?
Every verse is quoted from the World English Bible (WEB), a modern English translation in the public domain. The questions only ask about facts the verse states, so they work with whichever translation you read.
How do I know the answers are right?
Each question cites the verse it comes from and shows that verse after you answer. Before the site is built, every quoted verse is checked word for word against the WEB text, so a reference cannot point to a verse that says something else.
Can I choose easy or hard questions?
Yes. Choose easy, medium, hard or mixed, and the whole Bible, the Old Testament or the New Testament. The game starts on mixed questions from the whole Bible.
Does the quiz take sides on church doctrine?
No. The questions stay with what the text plainly says: names, places, numbers and events. Topics where churches differ, such as the mode of baptism, the end times or communion, are left out.
Can we play it as a group or in Sunday school?
Yes. Put the game on a TV or projector, read each question aloud and let the room answer together. The kids page has easier questions for younger groups.
Does the game remember my score?
Your best score and the questions you have seen are kept in this browser only, so new rounds bring new questions. Nothing is sent to a server, and clearing your browser data resets it.
